Why is my dog drooling excessively from only one side of her mouth?

Hi. Excessive salivation has alot of causes. How long has it been going on for? If it is from one side it is likely to be something directly in the mouth, as opposed to salivating because of toxins or other 'whole-body' causes. She may have a tooth problem, gum disease, an injury, or a foreign body in the mouth. Also, a problem with the salivary ducts/glands could cause this. To get closer to knowing why, it would be helpful to have more information about the history of the problem, and whether you can identify anything that happened, or anything you can see in her mouth, and whether she is eating ok.
