Hi,
My cat has just been diagnosed with Gastric Lymphoma - the tumoris are in the lining of her stomach so cannot be removed. She is 10 years old and very laid back. She has also recently been diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism and is on tablets to stabalise that.
The biopsy test results show the cancer hasn't spread to the lymph nodes which were removed. My vet has recommended a combination of chemotheraphy and steriods to try to treat the cancer - she says survival rates to 1 year are 80% and to 2 years 80% of those.
I want to give her every chance to get well - is this the right treatment? Is there anything else I should be considering?
Thanks Sarah
