I desperatly need help! My 6 year old female had Horners syndrome,& now has an ulcerated eye. My vet thinks she will be permantly blind in that eye and he did a 3rd eyelid lift in hopes of saving her eye. I thought the rapid weight loss was from her not eating well due to her eye problem. The vet ran a series of blood tests on Shadow and found she is severely anemic. All major organs are functioning normally, she has been tested for EVERYTHING- and all tests are negative. I'm currently putting a triple antibiotic in her eye 3 times a day, giving her 1 dropper full of Hi-Vite w/liver & Iron a day, and one 100mg capsule of Doxycycline a day.She is eating well but nothing seems to be helping. I can't lose my baby Shadow! Somebody PLEASE help me, give me any suggestions to help her. My vet said he's scared & I'm terrified we are going to lose her.
