I honestly would recommend you talk with the surgeon about your specific concerns instead of having multiple point of views that could cause more confusion for you. I'm sure your surgeon can answer in greater detail all that you are concerned about about options of chemo therapy and surgical recovery time. I do know that cats can do very well with only three legs. I personally have seen and help take care of about 10-15 cats and dogs that have had legs amputated. A critical part after surgery is that she has serious rest and little to no activity so that the site can heal correctly - I have seen pets recover well but have had complications because owners do not limit their activity and the sutures/staples pull or are chewed out partially by the pet. I understand your concerns but, again your regular vet and specialist can go about in much greater detail all of your questions. remember no question is ever a bad one, I highly encourage you to ask all you have on your mind so that you proceed fully aware and informed. I hope I helped and thank you for your question.
