I am sorry for the late response to your question. The causes of seizures in dogs are primary and secondary epilepsy, Lyme disease and canine distemper are diseases that may caused seizures. Head injuries, brain tumor may lead to seizures too. Environmental toxins that lead to poisoning may come from chemicals and plants can caused seizures. The most common side effects of second smoke to dogs are lung and nose cancer. Take care and good luck.
