My dog is constantly squatting and cannot seem to have a bowl movement for days at a time. His rear-end is swollen and he urinates uncontrollably. I have given him laxatives but it only seems to cause more problems. Does he have a colon problem?

Hello!
This certainly isn't normal and I would imagine it's uncomforatable and possibly painful for him to be doing this.
I would advise urgent veterinary attention incase there is a blockage of some kind that is preventing him from passing faeces normally. It may be useful to obtain a urine sample from him to take to your vets so that this can be tested as you mentioned that he seems to be urinating uncontrollably. There could be a few things here but all need to be seen by a vet for futher investiagtion so that he can be treated accordingly to lessen his discomfort..
Do oet me know you outcome.
