My dog recently had a high white blood cell count of 86,000. The vet suspects either lymphoma or leukemia. X-rays appeared normal. She's going back for another blood test in a few days, when she finishes her antibiotics. Isn't it possible she has something other than cancer? What else would cause such a high wbc?
