Does your vet know of this ranodm occurance? Bulldogs, pugs, boston terriers all the "squish nosed' breeds have a tendency or are prone to breathing and coughing issues because of the compressed amount of space they have in their shortened airway. I'd keep an eye on it and get him into to your vet to rule out the possibility of a collapsing trachea which I had explained about in the beginning.
