Can I use human hydrocortizone on my dog's irritated skin?

    Generally it is safe to use but as a precaution you need your vet's approval before using it. It can cause side effects in some dogs with hypersensitivity to the drug. It can also interact with other medications. Your vet knows your dog's history so only he/she can administered hydrocortisone to your dog. Giving something to our dog without the prescription from the vet may cause more harm. Take care and good luck.
