licking

Scooter had been licking himself for about a day then I noticed some yellowish discarge on the outside of his penis. I cleaned him and have been watching for a day and do not see anymore discharge. Should I be concerned?

Sometimes they have a small amount of discharge that accumulates at the tip of the penis from the urethra, Keep an eye on it and clean him up with just luke warm water and a hand towel. It could also be a sign of possible infection, monitor for any irritation and get him in to see your vet if you feel its concerning to you. Call your local vet to see if they have any further recommendations and to keep them inform of your pets health. Thank you for your question and I hope I helped.
