My mouse slipped out of her cage and somehow made her way to the rats cage and now she has a huge gash near her eyes. I'm extremely worried about her as she has not opened her eye at all. She still is breathing heavily (its been 2 hours) I have been trying to call all the vets in the area but they only take dogs or cats. So far I have dabbed lukewarm boiled through water on her cut with a cotton ball. I sent my boyfriend out to get tetracycline and vitamin drops so I can get her to eat a bit. She lost a LOT of blood and I'm not sure how to get her back to somewhat normal. She is making this weird hiccup noise which makes me think that she has internal bleeding or something. She has been moving around. Right now I have her separated from her sister in a hospital tank with fleece. PLEASE HELP!

I forgot to mention that she stopped bleeding about 15 min after the accident but started again. I think she was itchy or grooming herself and opened the wound again. My boyfriend opened her eye and she is trying very hard to shut it but the eye looks normal, black and glossy not dulled. I will try to get a picture of her up asap if possible. Thanks for taking the time to answer.

Ok my lil mousie I think is trying to eat however I think that her lip is cut or something cause she'll pick it up and put it close but then drop it and squeak and do this sorta sneeze. Suggestions also on what to feed her so she can regain her strength? Also suggestions of vets in the Jersey City area for small animals.
