I have two dogs, a chihuahua and a miniature pinscher. The MinPin, got sick last week with explosive diarrhea. I took him to the vet and they said that whatever was wrong, it wasn't a parasite or any other thing she could find. She gave him some medicine in hopes to help, and also recommended feeding him rice.
Yesterday, my Chihuahua started exhibiting similar problems, with explosive diarrhea. Which he has had more control over than the MinPin. I started him on the same medication and food, but noticed that by this evening he was bleeding from his rectum. I am not sure if this would fall under a bleeding rectum or blood in his stool. I don't have a lot of money so any advice would be great!
