I have a 2.5 year old male cat. He vomited the last 2 nights clear or creamy mucis. No food or hairball in his vomit. He washes, eats, sleeps. Any advice? Thank you. Nicki

Hi there. If he is well otherwise and has only vomitted 1-2 times a day, you can first try a bland diet (cooked chicken meat and rice), feed small amounts 3-4 times a day for 3 days. If his vomitting resolves, you can gradually change him back to his normal diet over 3-4 days (mix the chicken with his food for this time). If he is vomitting frequently, or if he doesn't improve, there is a risk that he will dehydrate and the cause of the vomitting should be investigated by a vet.
