colds in cats

My 2 cats have been vomitting up yellow mucus, i think they have a cold, how do you treat a cat with a cold?

Symptoms: Sneezing, Vomiting

    Hi there, If indeed your cats do have a cold, treatment is usually supportive care- antibiotics, fluids if dehydrated, etc. Some more info may be useful, ie., do they have runny noses? Are they lethargic? Have they been vaccinated? Are they actually vomitting the mucous (with vomitting, you see abdominal contractions and an obvious effort) or just spitting out the mucus? Mild cases may resolve on their own but if the cats are lethargic or off their food, they will probably need veterinary attention to assess them for dehydration, fever etc. Hope this is helpful!
