Cat eats a lizard

Rating: 10

I caught Joe eating a very small lizard a couple of days ago. That night she threw up and the vomit was very liquid. Since then she has stopped eating anything solid. Any soft food I put down she licks the liquid off of, but leaves any solids. She will drink water and will urinate in her litter box. However she has not had a bowel movement for a couple of days. Other than this her behavior is normal if not a bit sluggish. Could my cat have been poisoned by the lizard and if so is there anything I can do at home?

It is possible that she got sick from the lizard. Is she an indoor/outdoor cat?  Keep offering a variety of foods to her, if no real food is getting in, there is nothing to poop out. If she doesn't improve by Monday, I suggest you take her to the vet.
