I took my puppy to the vet and they said they thought he had fading puppy syndrome and put him on antibiotics. Im glad you suggested i go to the vet because since he has been on the meds he made a full recovery. right now im having a problem, one of my puppies has developed a rash on his tummy, Madison is on antibiotics and i don't know if it is negativly affecting the puppies, my vet said the meds would not affect them so I am woundering why the rash, could it be because there blanket needs washed? could there urine be affecting them?

Glad the other puppy is doing well. Are any of the other puppies showing any symptoms like the pup with the rash. Try bathing the rash with a mild salt water solution this will prevent any infection. Also if you have any Aloe Vera gel you can apply that to the area as it may help the healing. The puppy may have been scratched by one of the other puppies during feeding and the rash has come up from that. Keep an eye on it and obviously if it gets any worse then i would consult your vets again. Regards Selena

The weirdest thing happened, when I woke this morning to check them the rash had disapeared completely, even the little bit of rash that was starting on the other puppies is gone as well, when i thought about it today yesterday I sprayed febreeze in the bedroom on the bed and carpet to rid of the smell, I have a feeling that perhaps it could have been an allergic reaction to the febreeze? would an allergic reaction look like this? im going to bath today just make sure and wash there bedding. thankyou again xx

Yes they could be allergic to the chemicals in the spray, especially when their skin is so sensitive at the moment. Glad they are all ok though!
