My golden retriever, 18 months, has a runny stuffy nose. He has been licking his nose so much he has irritated the skin between his nose and mouth. When he sleeps you can hear the snot bubbling in his nose. He is not coughing or sneezing, just trying to snort the snot out. He is eating normally, plays normally, poops normally. HIs eyes are clear and his ears are clean. Any ideas? My other dog, an older golden, is not showing any symptoms after four days so I assume it is not contagious.
