Pregnant Cat Concern: Placental Abruption??

Rating: 0

My pregnant cat has had her first placenta hanging out of her for over an hour. It is about the size of a shooter marble, and looks more bloody on the inside than with a clear fluid. She's not having contrations, and she's behaving quite normally. Is this normal, or could it be a placental abruption? I live in a rural area and the vet is out on a ranch call.
