HI
It sounds like your puppy has canine acne or viral papillomas. These papillomas usually appear in or around the mouth or eyes. These papillomas are species specific ,so you cannot get them from your dog but they can be transmitted frrom dog to dog.The infection is transmitted through direct contact with an infected dog or in the pet's enviroment. The dog generally is young witha an immature immune system to become infected.
Viral papillomas should go away on their own as the dog's immune system matures and can respond against the papillomas. It t akes 1-5 months for papillomas to regress.Sometimes oral papillomas can become infected with bacteria of the mouth but can be treated with antibiotics.Occasionally, some papillomas will stay permanently.
Treatment is usually unecessary. The papillomas will usually go away on their own.If their are many in the mouth, they can be removed . Some vets will crush a few papillomas to stimulate the immune system to assist in the regression process.
My own dog had a few of these as a pup and they went away on their own in a few weeks. Not to worry. Hope this helps .
