    It sounds as if spike may be suffering from an ear infection. Is his ear painful and red?and is there any odor? is there any discharge? It is a good idea to get him checked by your vet especially as he has a head tilt and anorexia as this can signal a deeper ear infection and these can get out of hand quite quickly. THere are many causes for ear infections.......... allergies ( probably the most common,)ear mites, anatomy ( long floppy ears and hairy ear canals make them more common), not cleaning the wax out regularly, irritants ( eg. foreign body, water left in the canal from swimming or certain ear cleaners eg alcohol. I usually suggest one part white vinegar to three parts water as a good ear cleaner). I hope he feels better soon

    thank you - paid for emergency vet who said what u said - gave injection for pain and antibiotics thank you
