I keep mojo in a concrete kennel, when I take her out to walk she goes to the grass and begins eating it. Is the something lacking in her diet? why does she eat grass?

An age old question this why do dogs eat grass? Well most dogs will do this so it must be for some reason or another. It might be because they are experiencing tummy discomfort and grass helps to calm it down. Or it might be an old behaviour that they needed to eat grass when they were scavenging about many years ago to help digest all sorts of stuff. Of course they might not need grass now but who knows. I always believe in the fact that the dog probably knows what it needs so let her eat it. You might want to grow some on a soil tray and put it into her kennel along with lots of stimulating toys.

Sorry I can't answer this question but the truth is although there are lots of theories no one really knows for sure.

    All the best

Good Dog? Bad Dog? By Rosie Barclay. This book concentrates on changing the traditional views of how we perceive and treat our dogs using what we have learned from scientific research so far. It starts at the beginning by looking at ways of how to chose and bring up a new puppy that may reduce the likelihood of future problems. It then goes on to cover different problems that commonly occur between owners and their maturing or adult dogs by discussing real case studies. TO BUY VISIT www.rosiebarclay.com
