Hi, my goldfish is 8 years old and seems to be very healthy. But one eye is protruding a bit and seems to be filled with a little bit of blood. It has been like this for awhile but could it be serious?

I know it is just a fish, but i would call a vet and talk to them about it. when I read that it was 8 years old I was SHOCKED!!!! call the vet and learn about how to take care of it!!! best of luck!!!!
