Dog is lethargic and shaky

Gypsy is very lethargic and shaky. She won't move to eat or go to the bathroom. She did get a hold of some crayons last week and those came out with a bowel movement. Any ideas of what could be causing her to be lethargic and shaky??

    Hello!

There is always a possibility that she has an obstruction from the crayons and that she hasn't passed them all. Or it could be unreleated.

Given her symptoms and the fact that we know she did eat something last week that could possibly casue a blockage, I advise that you take her to you vets. This way, they will be able to take her temperature, palpate her abdomen etc and see if she is sore anywhere. Shaking does sometimes indicate pain/discomfort.

    Good luck!

    Has she urinated?

I don't know if it has anything to do with the crayons but shaking and weakness is an indication of kidney failure as well.

Regardless of what it is, go to your vet and get it checked out.
