Hi!! I'm just a pet technician but here's my advice based on my experience. Observe your dog for 24 hours before taking her to the vet. Stop any intake of food for the next 24 hours but you can give her water only in minimal amount but frequently. Large amount of water will induce vomiting so I suggest you put ice cubes on her water pan to be sure her water is "ration" in small amount. After 24 hours and the diarrhea stops you can feed your dog with a bland diet of boiled chicken breast (remove the skin) mix with rice again given in small amounts. If diarrhea recurs with other symptons like vomiting with diarrhea, blood in the vomit, lethargic by then you should call or visit your vet for proper diagnosis and treatment. I hope and pray your Lola will get better...

This could simply be something she accidently got into,a form of parasite, or an difference in diet.I suggest you wait for a full 24 hours before taking her to the vet. Don't feed anything that would have even normally upset her stomach. You need to be very careful with what you give her, because you don't want to further upset her belly. Look for anything in her stool, because often you can find a parasite or worm in it. That's ofcourse if she has one. If she keeps puking than contact your vet, or if she becomes lethargic than also take her to your vet. Good Luck, Gabriella
