I had to remove bandaging from my dog's front right leg, as he developed a deep pocket of blood behind his 'elbow' from a small cut. He is currently taking prednisone for arthritis in his lower back and our vet stated that this is what caused this bursting of blood. Our care directions indicate that we should not put more pads on this wound, but it is very open. She stated that it would scab over, providing he does not lick at it. He is taking antibiotics as well for this. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
