Gurgling Stomach

My dog's stomach keeps making gurgling noises. While he has that problem, his body tends to shake nonstop. I've tried changing his diet to sensitive stomach, stopped giving him doggy treats, and is getting no human food. What might be causing it?

    Hello!

Are there any other symptoms happening with this. Diarrhoea? Vomiting? Quieter than usual? Reluctance to walk about?

How often do you feed him and on what food are you feeding him on?

Hello Usually when he starts shaking, he wants you to hold him. Some of the time he sleeps and is ok when he wakes up, other times he just sits with you. There are some days that the shaking lasts for a few hours, others it lasts most of the day. He doesn't have any other symptoms with it. He's currently on Science Diet Sensitive Stomach and has been for at least the last 7 months. As far as how often, he eats whenever he's hungry...usually only eats once or twice and only when I'm home.

It is a little strange - some dogs shake if they are in pain somewere. In his case it could be that his belly is sore. If the shaking has increased or he seems a little quiet/clingy then it may be pain related.

My advice would be to take him for a check up at your vets. They will then be able to feel his belly to determine if he is sore anywhere and maybe choose to investigate the shaking a little further.

Keep me informed with how he goes.
