This morning, we just began to take care of 6 week old kittens while my neighbors are on vacation. They have some illness that gives them junk in their eyes [guessing URI] so we have to put medicine in their eyes. The medicine seems to be helping all of their eyes but one is having much trouble breathing. It looks directly upward and gasps for air through its mouth.
What can I do to help it breath better or easier? Will it live?
I can not call its vet because its too late and we don't know their vets number or the owners' number. I can't take it to my vet because my family is much too poor to afford a visit to the vet.
