Low fat treats for dogs

My dogs are overweight,it's my fault,I'm always giving them something out of the refrigerator.What low fat treats can I give them that will bring their weight down ?

    Fruits and vegetables are always great - just no grapes, raisins, onions or garlic.  Lots of dogs will eat baby carrots, frozen green beans, or apple slices.  Another option is to take the canned version of their low fat diet, cut it into pieces, and bake it until crispy. 

    Don't forget, when animals are less active over the winter months, it's ok to decrease their food intake!  Less energy usage means they don't need to take in as many calories!

    A pat on the back for taking responsibility for your dogs' weight issues :)
