Hi there,
Most hamsters have a very short stubby tail.
Often if the hamster is male their testicles can get mistaken for lumps or swellings, they can retract them up inside their body so will sometimes not 'be there'
If the hamster is eating drinking and poo'ing normally then i shouldn't worry.
Hope this helps.

HE SEEMS TO BEING EATING, DRINKING AND POOING NORMALLY, HOWEVER, LAST NIGHT I HAD HIM IN HIS EXERCISE BALL FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES AND HE DIDN'T POO AT ALL. I DON'T KNOW IF THAT IS NORMAL OR NOT

That sound ok, if he wasnt happy he wouldnt be running around in his ball. If you are still worried then see if you can get a nurse appointment at your vets as these are often free and he/she can tell you if there is anything abnormal there.
