Feeding ducklings

Call ducks

Hi , I have four 8week old call ducks and have switched them to growers pellets from starter crumb. I have heard that some poultry grower is harmfull as contains medicine ie anti coccidiosis.

The feed I have contains monensin, phytase, methionine additives.
Can you please advise if this is safe for my ducklings to eat.
Kind regards
Lynette

Our ducks have ducklings every year and for about 3 weeks we have them eating starter crumb. When we run out we just start them on the grower pellets and they do just fine, if they are too small we simply grind up the grower pellets. From what I can tell it does not have any harmful effects on the ducklings.
