we just bought a 10 wk old male maltese lhasa apso cross and vet told us he has fleas. he gave him a capstar which worked amazingly fast b/c we can see fleas coming out and then also put on revolution med. it's been 2 days since our puppy had the revolution medication but he's still scratching a bit, is that normal?

Revolution works by seeping into your dog's bloodstream, killing adult fleas who feed on the dog. It should work within 72 hours BUT you also need to treat your environment to be sure you are rid of fleas in the home. You can get a brand like Zodiac or choose something more natural like Sentry. The benefit of the natural spray is it's not toxic to pets or humans. Do not put more Revolution on your dog - some dogs will react badly to the pesticide, especially if overused.
