some thing wrong

WHat would cause a cat to go around in circles and flop down. Normally the cat is very active, but has seemed to have lost all ability to move quickly, can not go down the stairs, but can go upstairs. Does not know where the litter box is. Seems to have no feeling on the left side of body. Could this have been a stroke or systems of a spider bite?

There are a few reasons why Sandy would start circling and lose function on one side. These include vestibular syndrome and a stroke, but probably less likely to be infectious, or due to a toxin. It's a good idea for him to be examined by a vet to determine the cause. If it is a vestibular problem, it can look quite serious but often improves quickly, whereas other causes of thes symptoms would need specific treatment.
