A stomach ache can be similar to Parvo Virus, which can be picked up and brought into the house, yard or back yard by anyone treading the virus in on the soles of shoes, clothes or other dogs interacting with not fully vaccinated puppies. Symptoms of Parvo are : not eating/ drinking, vomit, diarrhea, lethargy, fever or low temperature (normal temp is 100.5- 102.5 degrees fahrenheit). Blood may or may not be present in both vomiting and/or diarrhea. If he/she is vomiting and/or having diarrhea then they should not be fed any food for 24 hours from last loose stool or vomited but, should be kept well hydrated by giving small amounts of water frequently. If your puppy will not drink on its own then you should hand feed the water to them with a dropper or syringe, until you can get him/her into see a veterinarian. Parvo virus is very lethal and should not be taken lightly if there is any question. I hope this has helped. Thank you for the question, keep them coming. We are here ot help.
