Not eating and Jaundiced

We have a 7 y/o female cat that hasn't hardly eaten any food in 2 weeks and drinks just enough to barely keep hydrated. She's been tested for FIV and Leukemia and is neg., her blood work shows a low white blood cell count and slightly impaired liver function. She was given a routine of antibiotics earlier and recently a anabolic steroid shot to try to help with her appetite. She tries to drink and is able to a little, but her attempts at food are worse now and she is showing jaundice around the ears and the gums. She's skin and bones and does try to do her normal activities, just has no energy. I have some Nutri Cal and am debating on whether to try to force feed her? We have 2 other cats that are older and asymptomatic. Any thoughts or ideas? We don't want her to suffer, but are at a loss as what to do?

Sorry to hear how unwell Timmy is. If she is jaundiced she does need further investigation into the cause, which sounds like it is liver-related. Sometimes a liver biopsy is necessary to make a diagnosis, but as she is weak, it is worth trying to syringe-feed her. It doesn't sound like something which is going to resolve without further investigation. If you don't want to take this line, then it's a case of the best nursing care you can do. Good luck.
