Dog with leg cramps

Rating: 8

ive had muttley to the vet twice in a week he seems to be pulling up his left leg and running around the house and coming to me to have it rubbed, but his whole body becomes so tense and within 60 seconds it is gone and he is off playing, ran full blood work, no lyme, no heartworm potassium was a little low so i was told to add some banana to his diet and said his ck or cpk was high which indicates muscle sprain or injury. can a dog getting a leg cramp be this scary that you think something else is going on? my vet is the best but this is just scaring the hell out of me, he has been put on rest for the next two weeks and if it continues then we need radiographs, maybe a pinched nerve but he tenses up and curls his toes up but then again it is gone in 30-60 seconds. what do you think?

Your vet I'm sure is on top of everything and has checked his  joints for any problems aswell, if muttley continunes to have the same issued it would be advisable to have him checked again and radiograhs taken. radiograps may show a hidden issue that cannot be felt upon a physical exam. Monitor his activity very carefully and limit his exercise like your vet recommended and hopefully all will resolve itself.
