These look like normal pigmentation, and should be fine. Jack Russels are very allergic to food and treats with beef and wheat and can turn pink after eating wheat or beef ingredients. Check gilroyvet.com for feeding tips

Ten years ago I started using nutrition to help resolve many common and chronic ailments, and now dietary/nutrition counseling is part of my treatment. I have a new book, called Dog Dish Diet: Sensible Nutrition for Your Dog's Health and a blog.

Send another picture, if convenient. These spots stand out more because of the nice pink belly

i have a jack russell terrier, we adopted her 4 years ago, about this time of the year she also gets a "belly map" i also got quite concerned - until i realised that it was due to her sunbathing! the "belly map" disappears in the winter - and comes back again in the summer! anji, devon
