Distemper in cats

Rating: 0

About 2 months ago I rescued 6 kittens from my workplace. They were fine, happy, playful, & thriving. Then about 1 month ago the runt passed, it was very quick & I assumed it was because he was the runt. Untill last Thursday when the strongest "Alpha Male" became sick and about 1 hour ago he passed also. I now believe it was distemper. This has been so gut wrenching my heart is broken & he fought so hard. PLEASE tell me there is something I can do to save my 4 other babies. PLEASE I CAN NOT go through that again let alone bare to see them suffer also like Patrick did. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Cats dont get distemper, but there are other similar diseases that they can pick-up. In order to help your little ones, you are going to have to take them to the vet asap. They are obviously unable to fight this problem on their own and they need medical help.

If the strongest one has passed away, then the outlook for the rest does not look great. However, dont blame yourself for the other 2. Just phone up your vet and make an appointment to get them seen today

let me know how you get on
