Our two outdoor kittens, born on May 11, have presented with dry patches of skin and some hair loss. They don't seemed to be bothered by the symptoms and they are not scratching or itching the problem areas. Any idea what the problem might be?

Dry patches and hair loss could be symptoms of an allergy, it could also be mange or ring worms , or even fleas. The only way to know for sure is to take the kittens to the Vet. The will give them a good examination and take a skin scraping to see if they can see anything under the microscope. I wouldn't treat them with anything until the Vet tells you to. They are very young and many things can be toxic to kittens that young.
