Baby Asprin is safe for a as needed Basis for dogs only. (twice a day).
Baby Aspirin or Buffered Acriptin is one of the safest of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for dogs.
Aspirin should not be used with other medications such as steroids, cartilage supplements,
cortisone-type medications such as prednisone or with other such as Rimadyl
Another thing to concider is that Asprin prevents clotting of the blood. if you plan to have sergery or a dental done you should not give any asprin 24 to 36 hours before the procedure.
You would need to ask your local vet on how much you can safely give to Eddie. before giving any Asprin.
I hope that answers your Question.
