our dog who is in season has mated with another dog, how can we prevent a pregnancy

    Depending on when the mating took placce , you may beable to get get a morning after pill for you dog.  I don't think it is actually a pill, but more likely a shot, that may prevent conception if given a short time after mating.  The best ting to do is contact your Vet and see if that is still possible.  For the future, so you don't have to worry about unwanted puppies, the best answer is spaying her.
