My male pet rabbit died two weeks ago (jaw abscess) and found out a few days later that my female rabbit is pregnant. I 'm pretty sure they had relations while he was sick. How will this affect the baby rabbits and the female rabbit? My vet cultured the pus from the abscess and it came back that it was staph. Is that contagious to other rabbits? please advise.
