Hi there. The lump sounds like it is an abscess (a pus filled, infected boil). It may just be due to a bite or scratch but could also be secondary to a tumour.  Either way, she is probably feeling quite ill and she will need antibiotics to clear up the infection so I would strongly suggest taking her to the vet. If this is not possible, you can clean the wound 3 times a day with salt water and get a elizabethan coller to put on her to stop her from licking. You can get these at a vet, pet store or here. Please do not use peroxide to clean as it is very harsh and could be making the problem worse. Please make sure she is eating and drinking ok. Again, I strongly reccomend having her examined by a vet, especially if you try these things and it doesnt clear up in 7-10 days.
