Ten days ago my 6 year old cat had 5 teeth pulled. Four pre-molars on the bottom, and one on top. Naturally she couldn't eat her dry food, so I have been feeding her plain tuna (she won't touch most canned cat food). I'm wondering how long I should anticipate her needed the soft food? I don't want to push her back to the dry food too soon, but I don't want her to become a food snob and refuse to ever go back to dry, either.
Not sure if it's helpful at all, but we do have one other cat in the house. Their food dish is always filled with their dry food, and they just eat when they're hungry.
