born with open eyes

I ave a 2 day old puppy that was born with its eyes open and now one of them looks dry and wrinkly. What can i do for him! please help!!

    I don't know if their's anything over the counter for eye's. But mineroil 1 rop every hr or so,untill you can get the puppy to the Vet,wear you can get an ointment that will last longer than drops.

    once i put the drop should i cover the eye or not?

    With the eye lid? Yes if you can that would be great!.

    I'm sorry for being a pain but i cant get him to keep his eyelid shut its like its dried open

    is their any discharge around eye that maybe with a dish rag and some warm water remove it. or it's just the eye it's self is dry?.

    Its the eye thats dry its kind of looks like a prune

    Oh Boy...that's a shame. I'm afraid he might have lost the eye. your Vet will beable to let you know if he/she can just sew the eyelid closed or it would be better to remove the eye from the socket.
