My dog has tape worms but our vet is charging us 40.00 for the test to prove she has them and now also wants another 60.00 to 70.00 dollars to get rid of them there has got to be a cheaper way to deal with this issue please help me find a way

If your dog is less than 28lbs then you would only need 1 pill from a med/large dosage of drontal.
you can get it on line at www.EntirelyPets.com but you do need a prescription from a Vet.
ask your vet if he charges to hand write out a prescription,Some Vets do. and get med/lrg dose pills
you will need 3 pills if she is currently 28lbs. 1 pill now and 2 pills in 6 weeks.
Drontal is given 2 times example > a pill given today then again in 6 weeks.
maybe that's why the treatment is almost $80 because the vet want's you to have the second dose now instead of in 6 weeks.
