My dog has a pussy infection with a hole. When my son went to wipe to see it. he thought he had seen a worm. What to do?

what I think your describing is a warble.

A fly gets under the skin of your dog and then becomes this ugly worm, will then pop it's head out real quick and puss or clear liquid come out of the hole.

I suggest taking she to the Vet so he/she can remove the warble.

it's most common in horses, but see it a few times a year in dogs & cats.

    I hope I helped.

    Regards, Barry
