My cat has been acting strange the past week. She is a partially indoor/outdoor cat but lately she has been sleeping all day, she gags a lot, and her 'meow' is almost inaudible. What could be wrong and should I take her to a vet?

Hi,
It sounds like there may be problem between her mouth and stomach. This could range from a blade of grass stuck at the back of her mouth to her having eaten something unusual, or being in pain. It is a difficult one to come to any conclusions about without an examination, so yes, I would advise you consult your vet.
