raw feet

i have a pitbull, shephard mix. and the bottom of his feet have been slightly pink ever since ive gotten him. he had a yeast infection and an allergic reaction to a flea bite? which he was on medicated shampoo. but since has gotten rid of both illness'. the last day or 2 he has been chewing on his upper feet,lower leg. they are becoming raw.....? what can i do to help him? can get a pitcute tomorrow if needed!

    Photo would help. any chance he walked into grass treated with chemicals? or some times when an animal was treated or had gotten a wound on any part of the body most especially the front legs or feet. they lick to the point of being raw. called lick granuloma,and that is real tough to stop once it starts,because it then becomes more of a mental issue rather a medical one. kind of like a obsessive compulsive disorder.

    I suggest you call your Vet and see what they thing,or have a recheck apointment.

    very possible, he was walkin in a bed of mulch, but the mulch is old. other than that just walks around the neighborhood. its still snowy and muddy up here so i doubt anyone has treated their ;awns yet. is there any kind of spray or medication i can put on it until weget him to the vet? i have to wait until next week...

    Actually what might work better is getting some Baby wipes and wiping Bosses feet with the wipes. Alcohol free!

    Neosporin probably won't help and if he licks at that may get sick.

    Let me know how that works if you try it.
