Sadie has been in heat for nearly almost a month and I was wondering if it is normal? And She is still bleeding and still a little swollen but my other male dog didnt notice her being in heat until now, and he is ten times bigger then her, and I was wondering if he got her pregnant would it hurt or harm or even kill Sadie through the pregnancy or birth?

Hi Kimberley,
Is this her first season? Is she behaving abnormally? If you are at all concerned that she is unwell I would advice she see's the vet. Some dogs can have prolonged seasons. If she is still bleeding then she is unlikely to be pregnant. If your other dog has mated her and this has caused some trauma it may explain the bleeding. Your vet will be able to tell whether or not this has happened.
