mobility problem

my cat seem's a littlt sore around his hips, tail and back legs. He is having trouble sitting down and his tail doesn't come up as often. He is not off his food and will still play with his favourite mouse. He is 5 yrs old in April

    It sounds like he may have got his tail c ought in something and it may have got dislocated??, Your best option is to see your vet and get some x-rays, does he go outside? any possibility he got hit by car, fell from tree. any young boys in neighborhood,who may have BB gun?.

    Let me know if you can think of anything else.

    I have since taken him to the vet and it look's like he's been "picked on" by the local tom cat(s). He's been given some antibiotics and pain killers to hopefull solve the problem. Thanks for your speedy responce.
